United Food Service is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Clerk Near El Paso, TX
**Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial acumen and technical accounting, with proficiency in software such as Sage and PeopleSoft.
**Responsibilities:**
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
**Skills:**
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Sage and PeopleSoft software
- Ability to conduct cash flow analysis
- Strong financial acumen with knowledge of budgeting principles
- Experience with payroll processes
- Knowledge of technical accounting practices
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures
Nice-to-have skills:
- Understanding of wills trusts estate law for specialized cases
